General Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs) / Services
Last updated: 15/07/2026
1. Purpose and Scope
These general terms and conditions of sale (T&Cs) apply, without restriction or reservation, to all computer repair and maintenance services offered by Mathieu Informatique ("the Provider") to its customers ("the Customer"), whether private individuals or businesses.
2. Services
The services include, but are not limited to: computer repair (desktops and laptops), system optimisation, component replacement (SSD, RAM), virus removal, and data recovery.
The initial diagnosis may give rise to a quote. Work begins once the Customer has accepted the quote.
3. Prices and Quotes
The prices for services are those in force on the day the order is placed. They are expressed in Euros (€) and are stated inclusive of all taxes (TTC — Toutes Taxes Comprises).
A free or chargeable quote (depending on complexity, [state whether the diagnosis is chargeable]) will be provided to the Customer for any repair requiring the replacement of parts or complex work.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is made in full at the end of the service, on delivery of the repaired equipment.
Accepted payment methods are: [Card / Cash / Cheque (to be completed)].
5. Liability
The Provider undertakes to exercise all the care and diligence necessary in carrying out its services.
No fix, no charge: The technician undertakes not to charge for labour if the fault is not resolved (excluding any initial diagnosis/call-out fee of [state amount or "€20" if applicable]).
The Customer is responsible for backing up their data before any work. The Provider cannot be held liable for any loss of data occurring during or after the work.
The Provider cannot be held liable for the breakage of plastic parts or connectors made brittle by age, heat or the normal wear and tear of the equipment, provided the opening and handling were carried out to professional standards.
6. Guarantee
New parts supplied by the Provider are covered by the manufacturer's statutory guarantee. Labour is guaranteed for a period of [state duration, e.g. 1 month] from the date of the work, for the same fault only.
7. Governing Law and Disputes
These T&Cs are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action is taken before the competent courts.
