WiFi & Internet in Mougins
The number one problem in Mougins villas: WiFi that does not cover the whole house. Upper floors, outbuildings, garden, an office at the far end of the corridor... In Mougins, I install Mesh systems that genuinely cover the whole area. Workshop in Cannes, 10 min away.
The large properties in Mougins (Tournamy, Mougins-le-Haut, Notre-Dame-de-Vie) almost all have the same problem: a router in one corner of the house, and WiFi that collapses at the other end. A single extender is not enough over these areas — you need a proper mesh.
My solution: an audit of the speed room by room, then installation of a Mesh system (often 3 nodes minimum) that broadcasts a single, continuous network, with no drop-out as you move from a floor to the garden. I also optimise for working from home: priority for video calls, a wired link to the office if possible.
Discretion and tidiness, as always in Mougins: on-time appointment, neat cabling, a demonstration of the coverage before I leave. €50 diagnosis deducted from the repair, firm quote, 3-month warranty. €20 call-out charge on top.

Frequently asked questions
My WiFi does not reach the upper floor or the garden, what is the solution?expand_more
This is the typical case of Mougins villas. A single extender is not enough: I install a Mesh system (3 nodes or more) that covers the whole house and outside with a continuous network. Coverage verified room by room before I leave.
How many Mesh nodes for my house?expand_more
It depends on the area, the materials (stone, concrete) and the number of floors. After the speed audit, I tell you the exact number — generally 2 for 100-150 m², 3-4 beyond that or over several levels.
I work from home, the WiFi drops in the middle of a video call?expand_more
I prioritise the video-call traffic on the network and, if possible, connect your office by cable (the most stable). No more drop-outs during meetings.
Do you work in the gated residences of Mougins?expand_more
Yes, I adapt to the access protocols (badge, concierge). Let me know when you book so I can prepare the paperwork.
Is the call-out charged in Mougins?expand_more
Yes, a flat €20 call-out charge is added to the job, whichever town you are in. Workshop in Cannes, 10 minutes from Tournamy.
