IT equipment buy-back with certified erasure
Replacing your workstations? I take back your old equipment, erase the data to the NIST 800-88 standard and give you an erasure certificate for each machine. You stay compliant, without having to manage a thing.
An old workstation is still a liability
What matters in an equipment take-back isn't the price of the hardware: it's what's on its drives.
You remain liable
As long as the personal data of your clients and employees exists on a workstation, your business remains responsible for it (GDPR, articles 5 and 32). A format or a reset does not genuinely delete it.
Professional confidentiality doesn't end when you replace your equipment
Client files, identity documents, health or financial data: an old workstation sold on or thrown away without erasure is a data breach waiting to happen.
Proof in the event of an inspection
The GDPR requires you to be able to demonstrate that you protect data. The erasure certificate for each machine is that proof.
Verified erasure, machine by machine
Each storage device is erased to the NIST SP 800-88 standard, using a method suited to its technology (hard drive, SATA SSD, NVMe), then checked.
A faulty drive that cannot be erased is physically destroyed, and the destruction is recorded on the certificate.
